Grand View Canyon
Grand View Canyon is an unexpected and intriguing canyon on US93 south of Challis Idaho. The canyon runs through an old lava flow. A larger stream cut out a valley to the East of the Canyon, so, Grand View canyon appears ais if it is cutting straight through a mountain.
The canyon walls are several hundred feet high while the canyon is only as wide as the width of the road at its base.
