I am fortunate to be in on a share of the crop of the East Farms CSA program. In Community Share Agriculture (CSA), people buy into a share of the crop from a local organic farm. The produce arrives on a weekly schedule.
This picture features a few of the squashes and green beans that showed up this week. I admit, the carrot is the last hold off from last weeks share.
Community Share Argiculture is part of a slow food movement which encourages people to realign their diet to the flow of the seasons.
