Translucent Columbine

This is the first entry in the new protophoto blog. I confess upfront, the primary goal of this blog is so I can create an RSS feed for the site.

What I intend to do with the blog is list favorite photos. I will aim at listing a photo a day, but will probably fall into a pattern of a photo a week.

The first photo is a picture of a yellow columbine. Columbines are in the buttercup family. I took this photo at F11 with a superfast 1/640 second exposure ... then jacked up highlights in my picture editor to give the flower a translucent look.

I took this picture at a super high F stop to give a columbine a translucent feel.
